Tokushima tour bus company Kaifu Kanko has just introduced a luxury 12-seater coach called My Flora. A one-way ticket will cost you 12,000 yen for the 10 hour journey. The president of Kaifu Kanko, himself a former driver, says it has always been his dream to offer Japan's finest coach service and employed local firms to come up this design. A normal-sized coach would usually hold 45 passengers but this one has room for 6 each side of the aisle. You take off your shoes at the door and wear slippers inside. Each partition has a curtain for privacy and all are equipped with power sockets and TV screens. Given that the girl in that picture is probably only three feet tall, you might like to know that the seats are around 70cm wide.
