[SIZE="3"]Amnesty International urges Nagoya Prison to stop strip search[/SIZE]
NAGOYA, June 20 (AP) - (Kyodo)---Amnesty International Japan urged Nagoya Prison in Aichi Prefecture on Monday to stop conducting group strip searches of inmates.
The human rights group claimed that strip searches of some 2,000 inmates when they enter and leave factories within the prison are conducted for the purpose of taking away their dignity in the name of maintaining order.
