Two-time Olympic judo gold medalist Masato Uchishiba was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of sexually assaulting a teenager at a Tokyo hotel after getting her drunk.



Uchishiba denied the allegations, saying the sex was by mutual consent.... Police did not identify the young woman, saying only she was under 20.

If she said stop and he did the things they claim, it's rape, no doubt....but the drunk beyond the ability to maintain consciousness claim I find dubious. I've taken care of more drunk lemurs than I can count and the few times they woke up after initially passing out, they don't remember shit. Hell, they probably don't remember what happened BEFORE they passed out let alone what this lemur is describing. Not trying to put the blame on the victim here but the drunk ploy is obviously being overstated and probably worked against them in the end.
