Excellent! Not only do I have rice, not only do I have a McDonald's near me, but I also have the exact same rice cooker as shown in the video. Gonna have to give this recipe a try for dinner tomorrow.

Incidentally, the Japanese version of the blog post seems to have gathered much more enthusiastic comments from Japanese readers, compared to the English comments (which are mostly "yuck!" or similar).

When I read "miracle" I expect when I throw in a few raw ingredients and it could turn out to be a set of big Mac in my rice cooker. Not yucky but nothing impressive as well, just another "takikomi" style. Can easily replace the burger set with takoyaki, okonomiyaki, pizza etc. My 1 yen opinion.
