I'd say riding a motorbike in India period is pretty stupid.

For a start: yes...

Then adding the insurance (or lack of) is pushing it to 11...

It's simply really. In this day and age with the internetz, just add a donate button and all your debts will disappear...

There was a similar story several yrs ago of a western woman. Went to India, involved in an MC accident, no insurance and definitely no means to pay for the astronomical bills. Had no shame asking for donations.

Most of the whiteboy/girl losers re not taking out proper health insurance or thinking like adults about the future when they're fucking working in a foreign country are in Korea.

My mate told me how in the last 3 yrs other waygugs (gaijin in Korea) have been hit up for money for 5 Engrish teachers who are too stupid to plan for anything. Yeah they've had serious conditions in 3 outta the 5 cases but cmon - much as I think Koreans are the biggest losers I've run into overseas, I don't blame em for telling the sick Engrish teachers that its all about the moolah and if they don't pay then they don't stay in hospital.

Korea aint a charity for foreigners w/serious illnesses that suddenly come up cause the person didn't get treated (ya have to have a medical check in Korea for your visa) for their condition or when they found out didn't fucking have the brains to save some of their cash for a rainy day. My mate remembers how one case ended in the bloke dying when he went back home to the US. Feel sorry for him but.....................

Shit happened, yeah, but are you that fucking desperate to escape the US by working on a tourist visa (totally fucking illegal) in Korea, having some condition that gives you fits and you know about it, and then ending up in a K hospital with some blood circulation problem that nearly kills you in Korea and then ends up killing you back home?8O

Korea, huh?

Here's a current example of a guy who WANTS but doesn't have the means and yet has the audacity to ask for a handout.

Not so. There's nothing wrong with inferior genes multiplying, as long as the environment permits it.

I think there are a similar percentage of short-sighted foreigners in Japan who are not on any form of health insurance.

True. The real fun starts when the environment changes, and you see who can adapt and who can't.
