Seriously...

I NEVER SAW EVEN 1 EPISODE OF FIREFLY...

Same for Dark Angel...

It's not snobism, religious or sumthing... I just have yet to try... But they are not exactly high on my viewing list...

I discovered "Lost" "Heroes" and "Nikita" only 6 month ago... and for "Lost" it was really hard to even finish the 1st season as it was quite fast getting clear that they were making shit on the fly and had no clue where they were going... I can't remember anything from Heroes... and For Nikita I watched without the sound because I'm a big fan of the wooden acting of Maggie Q since her seks tape with that actor from the live Initial D movie... (NOT anthony wong...)

That is so funny. That was the same thing I thought. I thought so around the end of season 2. The story was going in circles. Don't get me started on "Heroes". That was so painful to watch. Especially the other "Japanese guy" who wasn't Japanese (not the main J actor). I think he was Korean. Everytime he spoke Japanese it made me want to blow my brains out. I quit watching that after 3 to 4 episodes.:noose:

I'm such an idiot I stuck with both shows till the end. I guess I'm a glutton for punishment.

I try to ignore the bad Japanese accents in movies and TV shows because I know it only affects me because I know Japanese. According to my Korean friends the Korean character in LOST had a horrible accent but it didn't bother me at all since I don't know Korean.

Now I'm into to Dexter (last season was horrible though), Walking Dead, Game of Thrones and Breaking Bad. I also just watched a couple of episodes of True Blood but I haven't decided to whether or not I like it yet.

Speaking of bad accents the accents in True Blood are horrible. It seems like few people who aren't from the South and actually do a Southern accent. Tom Hank's accent in Forrest Gump ruined the movie for me. The Walking Dead is better because they actually use a lot of Southern actors and at least the guys faking it like the main character aren't overdoing it to a cartoonish level.

This comment really surprised me. My wife was a big fan of Lost, but she never had any complaints about the Korean actor's Korean. I did some research and I read that he was originally from Pusan (in the south east of the peninsula). Apparently their accents are quite terrible down there.

Nope, I got that meme from Fark.com...

Seriously guys... the walking dead ? How can you stand that crap... You just wish the actors to be muredered... The only worse TV shows (as in truly awefull) are the reboot of V with a psychorigid bitch replacing Jane Badler as Diana AND the reboot of the prisonner... who was criminally bad...

I discovered Doctor Who around 2 weeks ago... Just to realise that I don't like it at all... Watch the 9th Doctor because of Billie Piper... Then the awesum 10th because David Tennant(*)... And could not watch the 1st episode of the 11th Doctor until the end... as it was unbearable with some sort of child molester trying to play David Tennant playing the Doctor... ((*)Check the remake of Fright Night... it's good... they completly rewrote Peter Vincent from grandpa' with dementia to awesome coward)

i couldn't make it through even the first episode of Heroes.

it's Californication, Nurse Jackie, The Big C, and Modern Family for me. Used to really be into House, but kinda went off it when the obvious House/Cuddy thing finally happened.

Southern accents...yum.

I was tricked into watching it by the Rifftrax version... who make anything watchable... I even watched the Rifftrax of the first 2 twilight... while I can't stand the real movies...

(also check:The Room... it's a cult inside a cult...)

For survivors, I started watching the reboot... There is something missing, not gloomy enough... I much preferred Days of the Triffids (original and reboot).

Also one awesum TV show that I discovered lately isDoomwatch but it's one of those incredibly not archived Beeb early TV shows... There have been a reboot (sort of)...

called X-Files... (at least the season 1) after it get weird... up until "The lone gunmen" for which the episode 1 could be titled... uhm... AWW SHIT SHIT SHIT... (it's basically a remake of 911 were the US governement decide to crash a jet into the WTC in a false flag operation -they didun't think aboot using camel jockey instead)

And there is a great French post-apocalypse film actually you might like if you don't know it. I'll ask my Parisian friend when he gets back from LA.

Too lazy too list all my shows right now but most have been covered except Mad Men. More quality from AMC.

You guys have WAY TOO much time on your hands. I can barely get through an episode of the Wiggles on DVD before I have something to do.

I used to love LOST and watched it all the way to the end. Heroes - I kinda forgot about it. But what are all these zombie shows on now? Crikey..

Thanks for that list, Coligny. Need to check out.
Heroes went way off the deep end pretty quickly. Lost I thought was written pretty well, even though as stated, on the fly. Was hoping one of the girls would get into Kate's pants too, but that never happened.

Jason Kee (sp?) is the fake J-guy in Heroes. His Japanese is tolerable, and actually pretty good for a non-Japanese. I dare say better than most people's here. Daniel Dae Kim speaks learned Korean, but I as well never heard it ranked as awful.

Breaking Bad: Best show evar. The Good Wife is pretty good for a serial-drama that doesn't have to do with narcotics or being stuck on a stranded island.

I used to watch loads of TV but with work and a toddler there just aren't enough hours in the day.

Hubby still gets to watch lots - he has a huge collection of crap movies and watches them when he gets home from work in the middle of the night - what is wrong with this picture?
