Speaking of turning on a PC (as in police cuntstable, to use Pommy parlance), I met a 74-year-old bloke on the weekend who'd just come out of the slammer after the regular 23-day stay with no lawyer, whatever.
He'd been up one night in his danchi and couldn't sleep. He noticed Plod had turned up and headed to a call on the eighth floor, so this codger raced down to the police car to have a look around.
There was nobody else around, so the geez got in and drove the cop car for a trip around the block.
He'd brought the vehicle back to where he'd picked it up and the cop was waiting for him, so he flung the car into reverse and went around the estate again with the cop running after him.
Old sod was arrested, yet not charged, and they let him out after making him cool his heels in the detention center for the better part of a month.
He says he kinda regrets it, and it probably wasn't how a spetuagenarian should behave, but he wants one last spectacular show before he heads off to oblivion, so next time he's keeping his eyes peeled for a spaceship.
