Incontinental Drift...LDP picks Dire Rear Abe again

Postby Screwed-down Hairdo » Wed Sep 26, 2012 3:17 pm

Shinzo Abe puts the "dent" into president as he re-ass-umes the helm of the good shit LDP.
A war responsibility/comfort woman denier notorious for telling his Japanese audience one thing (usually hard-line BS) and foreign dignitaries another (usually hardcore BS) has seemingly earned another shot at the premiership he gave up in disgrace five years ago following uncontrollable diarrhea. Not sure whether it was verbal or anal.

Don't know about Paul, but he's certainly got enough hot air to fill a dirigible...(if he can hold it in instead of shitting it out is another matter...)

From the NYTimes
Opinion polls suggest that it will need a coalition partner and Abe has made it clear he is eyeing a possible tie-up with a party led by populist Osaka Mayor Toru Hashimoto, which critics say is tapping simmering nationalist sentiment.

Again from the NYTimes

Postby cstaylor » Fri Sep 28, 2012 9:51 am

Osaka Mayor’s Radical Message Has Broad Appeal in a Weary Japan
“Mr. Hashimoto has appeared at a time when discontent at Japan’s collusive politics is building” toward an eruption, said Katsuhito Yokokume, a lawmaker from Tokyo who quit the governing Democratic Party last year and wants to join Mr. Hashimoto. “The people feel betrayed by established political parties.”

Any chance this will be their campaign slogan?

The LDP is obviously aware of what happens when you don't dilute the gene pool...look at the people on it's logo. Even the extras from Deliverance would laugh at those inbreds.

I'm already filled with self-hate for continuing this line of conversation, but I'll end by warning you to watch out if your Mom Outlaw starts playing "Yankee Doodle Dandy" piecemeal while waiting for someone else to fill in the missing parts and then giggling and drooling when it all starts to come together...

Yankee Doodle Dandy = an insult perpetuated by the British during colonial days that Americans finally appropriated for themsevles after we kicked their Hessian mercenaries out (with the vital assistance of the French navy)

Johnny comes marching home = Don't go there. I wonder what songs the remaining French troops sang to keep themselves warm as they fled from Russia?

Best Yankee Doodle quote:
U.S. Grant wrote:I know only two tunes: one of them is "Yankee Doodle," and the other isn't.
