In anyone was wondering why all these photos are altered...

Since Oct. 1, copying images from newspapers in Japan has also become a big naughty-naughty just like downloading movies. Japanese copyright holders have started using tools like Google Image Search or Tineye to hunt down and casterate heinous image thieves. However, if an evil image dorobu steals an image, reverses it, skews it and substantially changes its colors, image searching software cannot identify or find the wayward image.
