By Adam Levine

A new satellite image shows increased activity at a North Korean launch site, suggesting a new launch could be possible in the next few weeks, according to the satellite imagery company DigitalGlobe.

The United States has seen activity on the launch pad but does not believe a launch is imminent, U.S. military sources tell CNN's Barbara Starr.

The image at North Korea's Sohae satellite launch station was taken on November 23 and shows similar preparations as was witnessed ahead of the failed April 13 attempt to launch a satellite on top of a long-range missile, the DigitalGlobe analysis concludes.

Best Korea can no longer tolerate the military conspiracy of the U.S./Japan Axis using the shameful excuse of "Santa" to violate sacred borders and airspace of the great nation of, Chosŏn Minjujuŭi Inmin Konghwaguk. For over 50 years NORAD has tracked this Santa Klaus but have failed to take countermeasures because he is actually an agent of evil hegemony. This year Best Korea will put a stop to these bellicose incursions once and for all.

Bomb Iraq -> get petrol
Bomb best Korea -> get thousands of zombies to feed

SK can survive having lunatics at their doors... But they will collapse on the spot if they have to go throught a peacefull reunification process. They ain't no Germans...
Which... in fact could be a gigantic opportunity for Japan to torpedo SK economy...

Yea... they certainly will take playfully to have a strategeric site bombed... and not go into a full shelling of Seoul... Which would force retaliation... and on and on and on...

It doesn't help that North Korea recently erected this giant sign, visible from mapping satellites:

2012112200442_0.jpg

which is believed to say "The Great Successor farts in your general direction".

North Korea launches rocket in defiance of critics

SEOUL (Reuters) - Isolated and impoverished North Korea launched its second long- range rocket of 2012 on Wednesday in what it said was a bid to put a satellite into space.

The North launched the rocket close to the first anniversary of the death of former leader Kim Jong-il and as elections loom in South Korea and Japan.
The launch, reported by South Korean media, was confirmed by South Korea's Defense Ministry.

Pyongyang says it is entitled to launch a satellite into space but critics say the rocket development is aimed at nurturing the kind of technology needed to mount a nuclear warhead on a long-range missile.

North Korea is banned from conducting missile and nuclear-related tests under U.N. sanctions imposed after its 2006 and 2009 nuclear tests.
The latest launch comes after a failed attempt in April that fizzled less than two minutes after blast-off.

Japan and South Korea put their armed forces on alert prior to the launch. The rocket is scheduled to pass between the Korean peninsula and China, with a second stage splashing down off the Philippines before launching the satellite into orbit.

OK, I take it all back...

BBC wrote:North Korea defies warnings in rocket launch success

North Korea has defied international warnings with an apparently successful launch of a rocket into space.

The rocket, launched at 09:49 local time (00:49 GMT), appears to have followed its planned trajectory, with stages falling in expected areas.

North Korea says a satellite has been placed in orbit; the US confirmed an object had been put into space.
