


Fukuoka to check officials' liver tests

FUKUOKA--After a series of scandals involving drunken city government employees, the Fukuoka municipal government has decided supervisors must review the results of subordinates’ annual liver tests and advise them to refrain from drinking if they have a high risk of alcoholism, it has been learned.
