Yup ... and hey, wrong thread, but did you see this?
Documents detail how Imperial military forced Dutch females to be ‘comfort women’

Which looks to me like you are changing tack.

The Dutch have their seed everywhere it seems. Are they the original Adam and Eve?

So, will the anti-hate speech ruling ban the goons in the black sound trucks?
(Nope.)
Yokohammer wrote:It's probably also worth noting that many of the Koreans the demonstrators are targeting were born and raised here, so "going home" isn't really an option. And it's not their parents' fault or their parents' parents' fault either.
Yokohammer wrote:Should they attempt to avoid discrimination by using only Japanese names, speaking only Japanese, and hiding their ethnic background? That, historically, has been the case for many. Same for people of Ainu or Burakumin extraction who hid their background so they wouldn't be denied decent jobs, marriage prospects, etc.Part of the reason for all the anti-whatever nastiness of late, I think, is that those ethnic minorities who have long existed in Japan have simply stopped hiding their backgrounds and in fact started showing a little ethnic pride.

Quick history lesson: Korea was annexed by Japan from 1910 through 1945. Koreans were conscripted for Japan's war efforts, and recruited for other work in Japan as well. Some immigrated by choice, I'm sure, but many were made offers that they couldn't refuse, so to speak.
The numbers are not insignificant. This is the origin of the majority of Japan's current "zainichi" Korean population.

Most of these uyoku bullshit, loudspeakers, slow truck blocking traffic, dangerous convoys, are already covered by the road and traffic laws or the local nuisances ordonances. But since the politicians campaining do exactly the same shit... The 5-0 can only weep in silence...

I don't know about that. I think a lot of the cops do hate them. Maybe not the hierarchy but the regular dudes who have to deal with them on a near daily basis. Back in '99 I went to Yasukuni Jinja on August 15th to check out the uyoku activity. That was the year the Kimigayo was officially recognized as the national anthem so they were in an especially good mood. There were tons of cops there to make sure things didn't get out of hand. There was this one cop in riot gear who was staring the right wingers down big time and clenching his baton so tightly I thought he might snap it in half. I'm sure his knuckles were white under his gloves. This guy had a look of contempt on his face like I have never seen on anyone in my life and a palpable seething rage the likes of which I've never felt. It was actually scary even though I knew it wasn't directed at me. I could tell he was just waiting for one of those guys to step out of line in the slightest. Unfortunately everybody behaved because if that guy had been unleashed there would have been some uyoku heads split wide open.

You're grounding your argument about people who had no choice in being brought to Japan and forced into underpaid labor on "There is always a choice"?
Time to move on, I think.

It's not "recent years" in Australia. Down Under does not, nor has ever, had Constitutionally guaranteed freedom of speech (except regarding political issues).

I'm aware of that. However, that doesn't mean that curtailing free speech in the guise of stopping hate speech hasn't gotten worse in the past decade or two.
