One of the things I've noticed about living in Japan is that the country's non-native speakers are fuck all at using the fucking f-word.
Good thing there's a new book that aims to correct that! As noted by Kotaku reader Chris Hill, Japan recently got a new English instruction book called How to Use Fuck (正しいFUCKの使い方 or Tadashii Fuck no Tsukaikata). The book gives examples and explanations so people in Japan can improve their f-bomb abilities.

The title is fucked, as in fuck the fuckin' fuckers fucked. As it stands, it suggests it will teach readers to use the correct Fuck, rather than how to use Fuck correctly, which could fuck things up even more.

It should be 「Fuck」の正しい使い方．Or perhaps I am just being a niggling fuck?

Heehee. Got that the other fuckin' day actually. I didn't tell the asshole to fuck off, but it sure reminded me how fucked a comprehension of our beloved tongue far too many native speakers have these days. Every else seemed to think I was being rather niggardly in my appraisal, as he obviously meant well, but I am fucking tired of watching the Meddling Class pave the road to hell and expecting me to applaud their right hearted and wrong minded fuck ups.

What really drives me nuts about the combination of political correctness and ignorance is how it starts to affect the way I think. Now whenever I heard the words "niggling" or "niggardly" the fist thing that comes to mind is "nigger."

What really drives me nuts about that combination is how I grew up in a country where nobody but genuine white trash ever used the word, and we only heard it because Walter Cronkite felt it a better way to expose the underlying stupidity by exposing it rather than bleeping it. The first time I ever heard the word used by a real person (apologies to those comically fat subliterate Southern US law abusement officials and their attack dogs) I was already about 13.

Personally, I tend to snigger at the niggling and niggardly objections to my use of any of those terms. I don't accept corrections from the incorrect, and idiots are there to laugh at, not to listen to. Socially, the biggest problem is that most North Americans think etymology is an infectious disease.

And don't get me started on orthographic impecunity
