Always find it weird, how totally crazed out everyone gets, just because someone forgets his stinky bag of gomi somewhere. I almost got arrested/shot/killed/eaten once in a building in London, when I left my suit case somewhere for a few minutes while looking for a cup of coffee early in the morning. And that wasn't even real coffee, just British coffee of their usual lukewarm dishwash water quality. :puke:

You do realise that London knows what real terrorists are, don't you.

(for those not up on recent history [living memory], they don't wear tea towels and they in fact look remarkably Celtic, and have free right of passage and employment in the country)

Indeed. And they be/were very ruthless, very active and very determined to continue over a very long period. Except in a few barmy quarters, they were never thought representative of their brand of religious belief. And they enjoyed considerable financial and logistical support from sections of American society and Colonel Ghadaffi.
It is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.

Affirmative. But histery doesn't add much to security imo.

In Taro's case above, though, they should have taken the case histeric, thrown the bag into the moat and shot his laptop dead imo. This might (or might not) have taught the idiot a lesson.

I wonder what the hell kind of name that "フンジャン・ジャスプリート" (Funjan Jasupurito) is? And, why was he reported to have been sleeping on the bank sofa? :???:

Also the suspect is reported to have said: "I placed the bomb according to the instruction of the Number Two, Prime Minister Shinzo Abe." 「安倍総理のナンバー2から指示された」などと話しているという。

Trigger warning via ethnic specification crime ...

It's " Jaspreet Hunjan" or "Hunjan Jaspreet" ( not sure of the order) ... whom a politically-incorrect knuckle-dragging Ku Klux Klan cross-burning Deplorable like myself might refer to as a "British Born Indian".

Hmmm, it could be this "Jaspreet Hunjan" who is the right age (but the house and truck look huge for Japan). There are many people (often Sikh) with that name so it's impossible to be certain of anything.

'Bombman' may have been 'triggered' by the Shimokitazaawa Curry Festival that is currently being held until the 16th:
