Japan welcomes the appearance of the next Wacko cult

Postby DJEB » Tue Apr 29, 2003 7:24 pm

In Gifu-ken today, a group of about 40 people clad in white blocked off a 200 metre section of road and wrapped the surrounding trees in white cloth to protect them from microwave radiation [ :?: :!: ].

Cultists Fearing Microwave Attack Whitewash Roadside
http://mdn.mainichi.co.jp/news/20030429p2a00m0dm019000c.html
"A senior member suffers from terminal cancer after she came under a microwave attack from communist guerrillas," a cult spokesman said. They added that they are wandering around Japan in search of a place without electric pylons, which emit electromagnetic waves and badly affect the woman's health.

Try North Korea. Not many EMFs there.

HEY, these are one of the same groups trying to protect Japan's favorite F*ucked Gaijin, TAMA-chan!

The cult is also believed to be sponsoring a group that tried to net Tama-chan the bearded seal who lived in a Yokohama river in March.

The animal rights group, the Tama-chan wo Omou Kai (Consideration for Tama-chan Society), built a tiny pool in a mountainous village in Yamanashi Prefecture with the cult's money and reportedly planned to keep the seal until they could transfer it back to arctic seas.

The WORLD ENDS MAY 15!

Analysis: Japan's lethal doomsday cults
UPI / Life & Mind Desk -- 5/1/2003 5:56 PM
... [the wacko Tama-cahn stealing Gifu-ken cult] Pana Wave apparently believes that the world will be destroyed by disasters on May 15 ...
... "What do you do when this machine goes awry? You press the reset button, hoping everything will be well again after you have rebooted the machine. This is exactly how these cultists view the world," he went on. "All that's needed is a calamitous war, functioning like the reset button, and then a better world will emerge."

Forgive me if my cult-builting inexperience shows, but shouldn't they say the world will end on Nov. 15? That way they'd have more time to build up the group. I mean, they've just had their first TV appearance, but already the earth is going to end. Imagine if you are a weirdo sitting at home with all your pet beetles (apologies to FG who have more than 12 pet beetles) and you see this cult on TV:

"Wow! They dress in all white! Cool! Woah! They've got a bulldozer! I want in! The earth is going to end when? Oh. Never mind."

On a more serious note, I once heard how the members of these groups think when the earth doesn't end. When they are still alive after the deadline, they invariably say that they are the once who saved the earth (made the gods happy or whatever). I suppose that psychologically it is easier to say that than to say, "wow, I was a twit." :hehe:

God,
How I miss the BRANCH DAVIDIANS

They were at least more dangerous than these quacks.
hehehe They made for interesting news, with child molestation reports, stand offs with the FBI, building up of a weapons stockpile and so on.

These people simply belong behind bars in an asylum or mental institution.

Cheerios Cult, I Accept Pay Pal

Postby Erik Lumberjack » Fri May 02, 2003 4:17 pm

Hi! Long time no see!

What the group claims is all true, actually,
but I'd like to point out that in addition
to the eletromagnetic waves generated
by communists that can only be protected
against by wearing white, Fruit Loops emit
a pink aura that can only be counterbalanced
by eating Cheerios personally blessed by me,
provided you include me in your will.

I accept Pay Pal.

Love and blessings,

Erik
