"Shane Green"? Doesn't he hang out at the SHANE English School? Maybe he has devoid-of-content Japanese editors such as in this picture  ImageImage here.

Actually, I past over that article last night, and didn't even blink. It just didn't seem to have any actual facts in it so I ignored it like 80% of the news I scan in a day.

The funny part of this news is that "the US and South Korean forces in two areas [are planning to pull] away from the demilitarised zone". Also it seems the "'take down' North Korea" quote was pulled out Mr Shane-English-School butt.

US officials quoted by Reuters said the plan would involve the consolidation of the US and South Korean forces in two areas away from the demilitarised zone...It was estimated that the recently announced $US11 billion ($17 billion) upgrade of the capabilities of US forces in South Korea would give them the ability to "take down" North Korea's heavy presence on the border within an hour of war breaking out.

Here's a better one for ya from fun pen of Mr. Shane.

Japanese bank talk 'nonsense'
By Shane Wright/ June 4 / AUSTRALIAN ASSOCIATED PRESS
JAPANESE banks could buy Australia tomorrow because of Japan's incredibly low interest rates, an economic analyst said yesterday. Jesper Koll, from Merrill Lynch (Japan)...
...said because interest rates were zero, banks were infinitely wealthy to the point they could buy a country.
..."If Japan wanted to buy Australia, it could buy Australia tomorrow," he said.
"With zero interest rates, Japanese banks can fund any asset, whether it's a good asset or a bad asset.
