I thought curling was Canada's sport. Does anyone outside of Canada know what curling is?

Yup, they do it in NZ too. I think there's only one lake in the country where it's played on, and it's only frozen once every 3 or 4 years. No, not a popular sport there.

Early last year, my out-laws in Japan bought this little game with two mouses (mice?) that hooks up to the TV and you can play either air hockey or curling. :roll:

When the 2002 Winter Olympics were on I watched them on CBC (WA state cable systems carry CBC feeds). NBC offered about 3 hours per day, and showed only highlights, but CBC was like 15 hours per day, and they showed everything.

That included a good 4 hours of curling per day. :roll:
