N. Korea to let kin of abductees go to Japan, paper says
SEOUL July 31 Kyodo - North Korea has told Koreans in Japan it will shortly allow some family members of kidnapped Japanese to go to Japan and will notify the Japanese government of this on Thursday, a South Korean newspaper reported Thursday.

Japan denies report of abductees' family reunion
TOKYO July 31 Kyodo (13 :31) - Japan on Thursday denied a South Korean newspaper report saying North Korea will soon allow children of Japanese formerly abducted by the North to go to Japan for a family reunion.
''I have heard of no such matter,'' Chief Cabinet Secretary Yasuo Fukuda told reporters.
