Indicted Hyundai Heir Plunges to Death in Seoul

Chung Mong Hun, a South Korean industrialist who was the business driver behind the South's policy of reconciliation toward North Korea, died this morning after falling from the 12th floor of the headquarters here of his family company, Hyundai Asan. The police said it was a suicide.

Korean question: Unlike Japan, there's a heavy undertow of Christian Fundamentalism in Korea. How does this suicide reverberate in Korean minds?

In Japan, Hyundai Chung Mong Hun's suicide can be viewed as honorable---going down in the name of the company. How about Korea?
