I live about 20 miuntes from Toyota City
This area in particular and Nagoya in general is dominated by Toyota.

In my book, Toyota is #1. The only Japanese company that's worth the natto it's made of. Not Sony. Not Softbank. And certainly not Nissan, who is farquing up with sheeeeeee-it like this....

Canon Company is also a quality *and* service oriented company. I've had occasion to open up Canon equipment and believe me the attention to detail is outstanding. Interiors polished when nobody was ever likley to see them tell you a lot obout 'pride' in the job.

HP and Motorola *used* to be like that but from what I've hear not anymore.

NEC was always crap.
