Yeah, except FM Tanaka is right-wing and anti-N. Korean. Have you noticed the rash of dry-ice bombs in going off in Yokohama recently? Only one in Shin-Yokohama last Sunday Aug 31 made the news but there's been several others in Sakuragicho and Kannai on Friday and last night the subway was stopped 5 minutes for another Shin-Yokohama station bomb scare. I tried to take pictures but there wasn't nothing I could see from the subway car.

yes CS maybe not right wing enough...I mean lets face it ALL the japanese pollies are conservative and all right leaning anyway...I have never heard of a politican try to get ishihara out for his racist comments nor oppose revisionist history(there have been some in the past but where are they now?).

lets face it if someone did they would be branded communist by almost all of society.

Yep.
My wife snorted hot coffee out her nose this morning when she heard the replay on the NHK morning news at 7am. I had to ask her what was so damn funny 'cause all understood was string of words "bomb + "N. Korea" + "NEED" (and the Object of the sentence was unclear to me).

Yep. that's the video clip I saw. I didn't quite make out that 'atarimae"(normal, obvious') along with 'bakuhatsu" (explosion).

Ok I saw the video again and the exact Japanese was, "bakudan wo
shikakerarete, attarimae no hanashi da."

Ishishara "qualified" his statement later and said that he didn't condone the action calling that "ataraimae".
