Bar owners in the area say police, clearly worried, have visited them to ask about their precautions, but have offered little advice of their own.
Sounds typical for the Japanese police. They're not much better than rent-a-cops in the States. If things really do get out of hand in Roppongi or other venues, it will be duck-and-cover and every man for himself.
