The big story: Japan may be on its way to one of its earliest cherry blossom seasons ever. ...
I was bemused by NHK's news agenda, which was skewed by the unending calendar of seasonal festivals across the island nation, excruciating hours of talking heads, and soft documentaries about Japan's beautiful places. Because so many of NHK's resources were allocated to this kind of news, it was not easy to fill an all-business program in a country that prided itself on being the world's second-most powerful economic engine.

Reminded me of this article which is an interesting look at NHK news and

I bet the Daily Yomiuri will have it, along with stats on how many tree-viewing troopers were hauled into the hospital last year for a quick comparison.

it's not like you cant just go online and get all your news anyways.
He's talking about you and your chainsaw juggling pc soccer mom bullshit. Santa Claus a terrorist? WTF ever. Just cause he's got a long beard. Bigot.devicenull wrote:?????

I do kind of like the cherry blossom news though.
