"Ambitious Japan?" Is that anything like "Dynamic Korea?" Also seen as "Dynamic Korea: Hub of Asia."

With a communist-esque neighbor to the north, do you really want to be calling yourselves "red?" Then again, this could just be a holdover from the national soccer team's motto during the 2002 World Cup, "Be the Reds!"

"English has accepted words from around the world for many years," said Russell Willis, chief executive officer of eigoTown.com and one of the judges for the contest. "Whilst many of the examples above would never have been accepted, 'Walkman' has made it into the dictionary. Sony should be congratulated on creating such a creative brand and word that has been accepted the world over," he added in a press release.

How can someone who uses an archaic term like "whilst" act as a representative speaker of English? It sounds almost as old as "cobbler" (inside joke).
