Yeah, Shinjuku totally is a black hole. I stay away from there because there is just so much crap stuffed into every crevice of real estate, I don't know where to go to buy what I want. You get to Shinjuku and just waves of people are going all over the place. Unless you know exactly what you want and where it's located, it's sometimes easier to just give up and go home.
