MINEOLA, N.Y. A New York family has filed a ten (M) million-dollar lawsuit, claiming a Japanese chef who tossed cooked shrimp at a man caused him to die ten months later.
The family of the Long Island man (Jerry Colaitis) says he ducked away from the flying shrimp, wrenched his neck and died from complications caused by the surgery he had on his neck.

The family is suing the Benihana Restaurant in Munsey Park, Long Island. The restaurant is known for having its hibachi chefs slice, dice and toss food when cooking the meal in front of customers.

In the lawsuit, the man's wife says her husband was healthy until he went to the restaurant. She says the chain of events that led to his death began with the shrimp.

Coincedently, tossing shrimp off is illegal in Australia.

The judge should award the $10 million as punitive damages for the crappy food alone. On the other hand, the below might help lure clueless FG-wannabes to Benihana instead of Japan, so I'm kind of neutral on the issue.

This is what makes the American legal system a joke and bastardizes the justice system in America. They should be fined or locked up for bringing this kind of crap to a court.

I saw that little fella on a BBC-made wildlife doc.. very impressive.

There was also a little underwater creature who drills holes in the top of mussels and then sucks out theirs soft insides... the mussels only defence is when they (many of them in unison) use a little sticky-thread(a glue which is more powerful then anything we have yet synthesised and whch they use to anchor themselves to rocks)-spinning-tongue to anchor the attacker to the rocks around him and then he starves to death!
