No idea.

I really don't get the whole baldness phobia that Japan suffers from. Don't guys realize how fucked they look with their "barcode" comb-overs?

Weirder things have happened. Like the artist who genetically modified a cactus to grow human hair instead of spines.

Japan Times: Few willing 'toupee' for easy baldness remedy
More than 25 percent of Japanese men -- about 13 million of them -- are estimated to have thinning hair, according to an annual survey in 2004 by wig maker Aderans Co. Of Japan's roughly 120 million people, 930,000 wear made-to-order wigs, according to Aderans, which calculated the figure from its estimated market share. Aderans, which holds the largest market share for wigs, says about 70 percent of its new customers are female. Back in 1982, fewer than 10 percent of Aderans' new customers were female, it said.
Aderans blames the decrease in male customers on the graying population, reasoning that men in their 20s and 30s tend to be more conscious about their appearance and are therefore more likely to be coaxed into wearing a wig.The thinning number of men willing to wear a toupee has also been blamed on the growing popularity of RiUP, a hair-growth tonic released in 1999 by Taisho Pharmaceutical Co. But a key factor is the stigma attached to being seen wearing a rug. "Wigs do not bear a good image because some media make fun of them," Aderans spokesman Kosuke Mochizuki said. "Wig use is considered something to hide." Tabloid papers occasionally run "wig allegations," speculating which celebrities are wearing wigs, with the kind of zest usually reserved for uncovering extramarital affairs.

I once say a guy on the train who had painted his hair on. Not just used this spray to darken a little balding spot - but the entire top of his head was painted. It was almost an astro boy style.

Plain skin is much better than a barcode or paint. But a lot less entertaining too.

My hairline is receding a bit more each year. I've considered just becoming a chrome-dome and growing a goatee... It'd certainly be a change!

Might do it at the end of March... Have a large project going live at the beginning of April -- 2 years of work. Seems a good time to make a change! ;)

I'll be sure to post a pic for laughing purposes if I do.

Paint-on hair has a long and honorable tradition.

Hey, how is it you never see any bald guys in those jidaigeki shows. Ok, sure their heads are shaved down the middle but they still have a good hairline! :D

Reuters: Taisho wins Japan OK for RiUP women's hair tonic
Taisho Pharmaceutical , Japan's biggest over-the-counter (OTC) drug maker, said on Thursday it has received approval from the Japanese health ministry to sell a hair tonic for women called "RiUP Lady". The company, which had runaway success with its men's hair tonic RiUP when it was launched in 1999, said the new product would go on sale in March...The Japanese market for women's hair growth tonic was estimated at one billion yen ($9.50 million) in the year to March 2004, against 31 billion yen for the men's hair tonic market. "We hope that our new product will stimulate latent demand," a Taisho spokesman said.

AFP via Yahoo: Japan's battle for hair loss solutions heats up
A corporate battle to provide hair loss solutions in Japan heated up with the nation's top cosmetics maker Shiseido launching a new tonic to rival the market leader. Shiseido hopes Adenogen hair tonic for men, using hair growth stimulant adenosine, will knock Taisho Pharmaceutical and its RiUP product off the top shelf. "With the launch of this product we aim to win the top market share," a Shiseido spokesman said. "We want to increase our share to 20 percent." Shiseido currently holds 10 percent of the Japanese market.
The company spokesman said Adenogen is categorized as "a quasi drug" unlike top-selling RiUP, which is designated as a pharmaceutical product containing minoxidil developed by US drugmaker Upjohn, now Pfizer. Taisho started selling RiUP in 1999, when it took the market leader position off Shiseido, and the firm now controls about 30 percent of the Japanese market for hair growth products, a Taisho spokesman said. Taisho values the entire market at 55 billion yen (525 million dollars) in terms of shipments by manufacturers last year.

His other 'head' is probably too small to even be a clit tickler, that is why all he can do is just type some messages harrasing the woman.
