Christmas Day & New years?

Postby Kagetsu » Wed Nov 26, 2008 3:31 pm

Is there anything planned for these two 'important' occasions. ^_~
Will be bored and looking for fun!

I have a long and proud tradition of cellebrating these two events in Japan.

As for Christmas...
Wake up
get dressed
go to work
ring kids to see if they have woken up and enjoyed their presents
go home
have a 'roast dinner' with the family while getting drunk
go to bed depressed.

As for New Years...
have wife follow me around the house all day while I race to finish the nenmatsu osouji.
Flop into the bath with a few beers
Watch the K1 in one room while the rest of the family watches the FUCKING Kouhaku singing contest in another (fuck that shit shits me!)
Walk to the temple with family at midnight.
Come home and sleep
Wait for everthing to get back top normal.

Ah yes, it truely is a shitty time of the year to be in Japan.

That certainly does sound shitty. ~_~
I haven't been impressed with all the new years stuff in Japan while I've been there. The first time I was there, I when to Shibuya to Hachiko square, thinking they'd have all the displays on, and massive lights and excitement... Nothing, even the next year nothing... The last time I went, I then decided to get involved with the riff raff crowd, didn't understand a word, and was nearly arrested with the crowd started climbing on the phone booths and being too rauccus... that was fun. ^_~

You are kidding me right? You will be bored at Christmas in Japan? Do you mean that you will not get laid on Christmas when every single girl in Nippon thinks she is a total loser if she does not shag with a guy that day?

A bunch of us decided to escape to Kansai for New Years this year....what kinds of anarchy is permissible, suggested there? Perversions are of course, never frowned upon, even if they leave phsyical scars that take months to heal and mental scars that never heal.

Girlfriend seems up for it. Seems like Tobita-Shinchi started up in 1918, maybe Greji has some stories?

Yeah fly-town is still up and running. "Just be safe", is my only warning if you want to go down there.
Mr Kobayashi: First, I experienced a sort of overpowering feeling whenever I was in the room with foreigners, not to mention a powerful body odor coming from them. I don't know whether it was a sweat from the heat or a cold sweat, but I remember I was sweating whenever they were around.

Try something traditional, like eating KFC after an afternoon of department store shopping.;)
