Two techniques I follow:
- Look through the window and count the number of women. 0 women means terrible food at a very low price. Too many women (especially in groups of two or three without men) means great food but not cheap.
- When there are no customers but there are other restaurants nearby, look through their windows too. If the other restaurants have customers but this one does not, AVOID.

Your techniques are horrible. Some of the best places are strictly salaryman haunts and women are the cheapest creatures on Earth when it comes to spending their own money.

First, we're dueling anecdotes here. I can't discount your experience.

Samurai_Jerk wrote:The places I've seen with the most women are usually those 300 yen or less izakaya. I guess I'm talking about bangable women. You may be talking about old bags with money but I still stand by my statement because those bitches are spending their husbands' money.

Wow. I guess the next question is, what age range is "bangable" versus "old bags"? When I'm dragged by Japanese acquaintances (mostly sad singletons hoping to meet a decent girl on the cheap) to one of those places, most of the girls there aren't old enough to drink let alone have a decent job.

And the food is terrible.

Me and my woman tend to go for buffet dinners in high end hotels on sundays.

With my beady eye though, I'm looking around and can see a hell of a lot of talent in these places. Groups of 3-4 classy women at various tables about the place - really nice clothes, hair, appearance, early to late 30 range (with a few above that, but they're not really what you're paying attention to). Absolute quality. They sit around talking about food and crap, getting excited at the sweet trolley. They must surely be single.

If you get a table next to them or make conversation at the food counter you could easily exchange pleasantries.

Further explanation is obviously necessary. That would be 8 to 80, blind, crippled, or crazy. If she can't walk, I'll drag her.
However, she will be ranked be yearly income for order of precedence!

While I don't necessarily disagree, I don't think this always applies in two situations...one being buying clothes, the other being eating out with a group. Of course they'll always spend our money if they can but they are so competitive amongst each other in their bitchy groups that they will spend money when they eat out together. If they're by themselves or with only in a pair, I'd guess your assertion is spot on though.

Anyhow, why not judge a restaurant by the food they're serving and if it's tail you're after, the only thing on the menu you need to be concerned about are the drinks! :kanpai:

P.S. Old bags? Old money bags and game on!

I prefer under 25 or over 35. The ones in between have marriage on the brain and that's something I'm NOT looking for.

Now, now, don't be mean, or think I have something loose,
I'm merely trying my best to imitate Dr. Suess.
And if it's no good, or you think I'm a failure,
Be kind, I implore, don't forget I'm from Australia.
"What's that go to do with it?" you ask me with speed,
Well, dearest dimwit, in my native land, we're lucky if we can read.
