You mean I will be allowed to hack people into pieces?!?

Will you settle for bludgeoning them senseless? Despite the rubber mats, the cleanup after hacking has proven too costly. Sparring is with rattan simulators. However, at the highest levels, we have steel combat with the Japan Armored Battle League. Full contact with steel axes is fun fun fun. The "sports weapon simulators" are not sharp, but since an unsharpened mace can still mess you up.... well, let's just say that that game is fought with some energy.

If you feel less ambitious: rattan combat is done by most with no loss of honor.

I got an iaido book from my kids' karate teacher, who is also a well-known instructor in that art. Quite elucidating that with a good samurai sword one can cut a person in two, vertically. Never mind, however, that that is considered bad manner: one should stop before the crotch, so that there are no two halves falling away from each other.

That was when I decided it was not a sport for me.

The pics you show us are quite glorious, though. Looks like fun. And if an accident happens, do I need to clean up myself, or will it be done by the most junior member?

Valid question. If small event, clean up your own mess. At a big event, we usually have staff. However, you are often waived responsibility if unconscious or sent to the hospital.:)

Seriously, we have quite a good safety record. Very strict about the armour and such. I think we rank about like rugby. There is a good image: rugby with axes.

Holy frack, that's a new world for me.

Any videos online?

The OP speaks!

If I can express a personal opinion, OP... Nice of you to come by here, please do not hesitate to involve yourself in conversations other than those promoting your own business. You have been very good about it and not too spammy, but wider participation would have removed all thought of spam from my mind.

A video not directly related to the OP's business.

There really are two choices: you can offer constructive criticism/behaviour modification to the OP, either publicly or privately; or you can use the report link to notify a moderator and allow him or her to make a decision, since this is the TentacleofDoom's sandbox and he writes the rules. Just sounding off achieves nothing.

And yes.

Wagyl, since Coligny says he ignores you, I quote your post.

You know, quoting a lecturing shit won't exactly change my opinion or behaviour. Does he realize that I'm allowed to an opinion or does he still think he's in his kitchen great ruler of all roaches ?

My purpose is not to report or eradicate on anything. Just to point out that it's not because it's polite or you like it that it's suddenly not spam. Just for once not from a spambot.

actually, I've been a member, but I haven't been on the forums since the rebuild. this is just my first post in a while.

First you must do battle with Coligny, a dramatic match of Man vs. Non-Sequitur, in the Christopher Johnson Memorial Gulag beneath Narita Airport.

Sounds like just the location for mediation sessions with my ex-wife, with whom I was living a stone's throw away from your location. (The preceding sentence is for the consternation of wagyl). Anyway feel free to spam away in an entertaining and engaging manner (though you might want to correct the link in your first post).

That makes you and the census-cheating ex a quick toss of gravel away from a workplace of my own: I am fairly sure I have wandered past the front of the castle many times without realising it. I have escaped that place 10 years now so we may not have been contemporaneous.

this weeks winner will be decided by drag racing Scud Missiles trucks. rules aree you must hold the steering with your teeth and switch speed with your buttcheeks. while at the same time singing the Soviet nationnal anthem in gaelic, with farts. the loser will be forced to watch the bolliwood version of season 2 of the walking dead. and sleep in the cats litterbox in the boiler room, the one cleaned every 2 years.
