If you're looking for clubbing information in English, try Tokyo Scene. I like a lot of their picks--not all Roppongi, which I've banned from my list of options.

Also check out Slinky, brought over from the UK for a three-month stint. (The site is mostly in Japanese, but you get the idea.)

Check out "Sister Chill's" at "Club Scene" under the 'News' catagory...http://club.nokia.co.jp/tokyoq/index.html

She be cool --- she wrote the book---even if though she no call no more.

"...an interesting mix of customers - the odd odd transvestite in a frock, hard-nosed bleached blondes from the suburbs, die-hard party animals, and sullen-faced voyeurs..."

When looking to go out clubbing, I always look at the Metropolis website first (http://www.metropolis.co.jp), which lists events by date and location. Also, this FG website has other links to particular clubs and clubbing websites.

If you want a big trance venue, Club Code in Kabukicho (Shinjuku) is about the biggest there is. Also, Liquid Room across the street has a lot of great guest DJs and events. I have heard that Yellow is good too (haven't been there yet). Also, there are huge trance events at Makuhari Messe (Chiba), but it's hit or miss depending on the date.

FG is my WaiWai--baka tono 6/26/08

There is no such category as "low" when classifying your basic Asian Beaver. There is only excellent and magnifico!--Greji, 1/7/06
