Night clubs - Gifu

Postby sharky » Wed May 25, 2005 6:50 am

Hello everyone!

In business travel in Ukraine I met one girl who is working in some night club in Gifu in Japan. Could you write me some internet sites, where can I see pictures from clubs or sites from clubs with girls from Russia... , maybe I can find her :D !

Tnx! :)

Well, a lot of them seem to act alike... There used to be a bunch of them living down the street from me. I wasn't "interested" particularly, but at first I tried to say hello when I passed them on the street. Man, talk about being ignored!! Guess I'm too fugly or don't have enough money to be interesting.

It varies. I was taking morning language classes, and we had two hostesses attending. That was when I was automating an upscale club in Yokohama using computers (most clubs use simple ledgers and a single cash register), so I knew most of the code words (douhan, honshimei, etc...).

I was just saying "hello", or even a quick "nod". Maybe it's a cultural difference or something, but it was like I didn't even exist. Who knows... It's not something I lose sleep over, just that they were the least friendly gaijin I've yet to encounter!

Sorry GomiGirl, maybe I expressed wrong... I was just looking and don't find any sites of it. So I asked here. Maybe will this post develop discussions, which clubs are the best in single Japan city.

Gifu has a lot of nightclubs, the sleezy kind with barkers out front.

Glitteriing Gifu

Postby Mike Oxlong » Thu May 26, 2005 7:43 am

Gifu is famous the country over for its soapland. In the pre-bubble days, Gifu's version was bigger and better than many...dudes with a penchant for that sort of thing would make a special trip to Gifu to sample the wares.

Of course, there are plenty of hostess clubs as well, and snacks and so forth...

~400,000 people in Gifu.
