Also, I'm looking for a good photography shop as I'm planning to get a Olympus C-8080 as well as some extra stuff (filters, tripod, bag) to go with it as well... not sure if they have all that at the BIC Camera near the station

Always go the Taro way: VIP entrance to exhibits, free parking, no lines, hospitality rooms, etc.
Rent or drop by a local hospital and "borrow" a wheelchair for the day of your Expo visit. Mo' betta, invite me to stay at place near the Expo and I will way my magic 1-kyu handcap ID and make all the lines and crowds go away for anyone who is my designated "helper".

Since when did good ol' Nippon become accessible and friendly towards the handicapped?
