August 19th or 20th

Any of you Tokyo based FG interested in getting together for a drink or two or ten? I will be in Tokyo those two nights and would like a chance to put some faces to the names that I have learned by heart over the years. If you are interested give me a pm. I hear there is a good bar not far from my hotel, perhaps its called Araku?

I hope you have a chance to do so. I really wanted to hook up but couldn't drag myself out of Hachinohe.

I wonder why...:D

And don't ask me why I had a COMPLETE brain fart and didn't hook up with you why I was there.

Good idea. Let's do it someplace outside of Shinjuku at someplace where they pour a full shot....

Ok then lets shoot for August 19th. What is a good time to show up? I know Greji will be there from opening to closing, but for the rest of us that is.

Speaking of pouring in Japan, what is the rule about a full joki of beer. I went to an Izakaiya, and I swear they were serving only half glasses with the rest being foam. One of my friends complained and they did get better after that. I know that some people like getting a lot of head, but that was a bit too much, even for Greji!!!

Though not a "Bar" I always loved Ningen Kankei in Shibuya. They had great beers, Guiness Black and Tans, for reasonable prices. The atmosphere and eye candy were great too.

Then there was a bar closer to home in Chofu called "Jackson Hole" made popular by the manga "Nana". 80% women and young ladies. Nanpa heaven man. Plus they had Red Hook!!

Now that I think of it, I want to open my own bar or cafe when I move back. Perhaps some of us FG would like to get together and start one up??

Looks like I will be hitting the motherland come early Dec.
