Students at the Sano College of Technology in Izumisano City, Osaka Prefecture, have been awarded the best prize at an energy utilization technology contest for their development of an ecologically friendly automobile which uses as its fuel heat generated by the burning of garbage. The Minister of Education and Science Award is the highest honor granted at the contest sponsored by the Japanese Society of Technology Education.
