No you didn't - you are just trying to cover up your own mistake.

When are you going to learn that this trolling or whatever it is, is just not funny? But keep it going as it just gives further proof as to what a loser you are.

Android Bug Reboots Phone Every Time You Type "Reboot"

Android Bug Reboots Phone Every Time You Type "Reboot"
ZDNet via Gizmodo, November 8, 2008
The latest big bug discovered in Android has to be one of the craziest that's shipped with a phone. Basically, Android invisibly interprets every word as a command and executes it with "superuser privileges." If you open up your keyboard and type r-e-b-o-o-t, your G1 will, yep, reboot.

(It'll do this with any other command too, so stay away from combinations of rm and rf.)

Racing around to come up behind you again
The sun is the same in a relative way, but you're older
Shorter of breath and one day closer to death

I suppose I should admit it here, after all my advocacy: my iPhone died. It lost its ability to connect to the EDGE data service, which means no internet, no mail, and no voicemail. It still makes phone calls. That is the least thing I do with my iPhone, I use it constantly for email and web surfing.

Alas, it was one month out of warranty, as I discovered last month when I tried to get service for a minor screen defect it has had since I bought it. I had no iPhone servicing dealer closer than 250 miles away, I was putting it off, I just never have the time to take a whole day to drive there and back. But I miscalculated my warranty by a few days and put it off too long. It was my only phone (I have no land line) and I didn't want to go without any phone while it was in transit for mail-in service.

But Apple's Customer Relations generously offered to replace it free, under the Defects of Manufacture clause that can allow a warranty extension on products sold with such defects. Then they told me they couldn't ship me a new phone immediately and I'd "cross-ship" my bad unit (as they do on most other repairs), they'd ship me an empty box, I'd send it back, then a day or so later I'd get a new phone. Whoa, that is a dealbreaker, that's why I never managed to get the phone serviced before, it's my only phone, I can't do without phone service. The Apple agent explained I could take the SIM card out and put it in my old AT&T phone. I never thought of that.

So now I am using an old Motorola crap-phone, the flip-phone I used before I got the iPhone. I can barely operate it. It is a confusing, poorly designed piece of crap. I don't know how anyone could use such a piece of crap. I don't know how I put up with such a piece of crap. But I will only have to put up with the old piece of crap for about another 48 hours, and then I will have my brand new iPhone replacement. Yay.

Oh you ought to see the shipping box they sent me. It is as wonderful a piece of design as the original packaging. You open it up and there is a big sticker inside with a headline "We're sorry you're having trouble with your iPhone" and then it goes on to apologize at length. There is a simple brochure on how to package the phone for shipment. It even has a clear plastic slab about 6 inches long, I didn't know what it was for, I thought it was a small sheet of plexiglass, then I read the instructions, it is a small pack of precut lengths of clear tape to seal the boxes. How thoughtful. The kit also includes a small plastic Ziploc bag containing a SIM extraction tool, with a label on the outside showing how to use it to extract the SIM. Inside the little bag is the tool: a single paperclip.

A lot of Youtube out there comparing the new HTC Touch Diamond with the iPhone. Docomo supposed to get them in the next month or so. Does anyone know what the charges would be with Docomo for an equivalent plan to Softbank's iPhone deal with Internet?

Also, anyone test-driven or picked-up the Samsung Omnia?
