Physicists Prove Teleportation of Energy Is Possible

Image

Over five years ago, scientists succeeded in teleporting information. Unfortunately, the advance failed to bring us any closer to the Star Trek future we all dream of. Now, researchers in Japan have used the same principles to prove that energy can be teleported in the same fashion as information. Rather than just hastening the dawn of quantum computing, this development could lead to practical, significant changes in energy distribution...

I have this teleportation superpower.

It happens every time I drink enough alcohol. I magically teleport from wherever I was to somewhere else, but more often than not, I wind up at home.

There's kind of this blackout during the teleport where you lose track of space and time, and the move can make you feel really sick afterwards.

Sheldon: Here's the problem with teleportation.
Leonard: Lay it on me.
Sheldon: Assuming a device could be invented, which would identify the quantum state of matter of an individual in one location and transmit that pattern to a distant location for reassembly. You would not have actually transported the individual, you would have destroyed him in one location and recreated him in another.
