Yet, there isn't much that's baseball and apple pie about them.
Instead, there is something very Japanese about both.
At times, Apple is more Japanese than Japan. Here's why. More....

I helped a Japanese friend edit her personal statement to get into an MBA program. There was one part about her pride in Japan for coming up with that concept. She was shocked when I broke to her that Deming was actually the one to come up with it and not Toyota.

We can give the Japanese credit for listening to him though.

Although not as obnoxious as Koreans, I'm often surprised how many Japanese take a lot of pride and assume Japan invented/created/were the first to do many things that actually originated outside Japan.
