Gator, the controversial advertising software and e-wallet company, has changed its name to better reflect its business in behavioral marketing.

When it's Satan's housepet, Gator, you're damn right I'm, " nervous to be clicking on a single link with no other explanation."

I'm sure the execs at Gator Corp wanted the name change for social reasons---I cannot imagine trying to hand out my biz card reading: "Gator Corp, Taro, Chief Executive Ass-wipe" . :puke:

The gator business card probably is the size of a suitcase, has instilled cameras, microphones, gps, biometric scanning devices and ...

To receive a gator business card you have to sign you sole away and promise to keep the business card on you at all times. In Fact it has to be glued to you back.

When carrying the business card every news paper and magazine you read just seems to be full of ads. In fact you cant even remember buying you newspaper it just appeared in your hand. Now you have so many newspapers it slows you down when you are trying to walk.

I would love to be able to crack well enough that I could log into Gators website and run a script that would change the word software into spyware on every instance. It would be sooooo funny

Ah yes. Gator, who took offense to being called "spyware."

Good Slashdot page about that debacle here.
