Seems like their estimator is screwed or something.. from nearly 1.X Billion down to around 100 million... ????

I hate pachinko.. it is an utter waste of time and when you go in the place.. the machines make you deaf.. and then there are the ojiis and babas smoking like they're on crack.. LOL

those places drive me insane. And then you'll have a nice little town, and come around a corner and see a small statue of Liberty, flashing lights, neon, noise, ojii parking-men.. parking lots full of cars and so on.. it can ruin the atmosphere of a small village in Japan.. and I don't know how many times I have seen those pachinko joints out in the boondocks.. They have no regard for aesthetic appeal whatsoever.

And someone clue me in on those stupid wreaths and such they put up outside of the pachinko parlor????

My wife has a friend that opened a pachinko in the 80s.....they expanded and now own like 10 of them. All I know is they are like one hair lower than Bill Gates with their bank account.

I guess they infest Japan cause people love pachinko so much....hell they are the only thing still open after 12 pm in this town (not counting the mosburgers and gustos)

If I'm not wrong, they're some kind of oversized greeting card that congratulates the shop owner on finally being able to start up their business (done usually by business partners - sometimes friends in other companies give themselves a free plug on them).
You usually only see them when the business is newly opened.
(Someone correct me if I'm wrong....)
