I saw a similar one in Toys-R-Us in Nara and thought they looked really cool (although those potential uses eluded me), but one thing I did realise was that the first time little Keiko or Hidetaka played with it outside (after inhaling & fooling around with the Helium for a while), it would only take about half a breath of wind to steal it away permanently. The picture on the box showed it being used inside (which shouldn't get boring for at least 20 minutes and a few broken ornaments).

OMG, I actually had one of those Cox PT-19 planes. Stinky little alcohol and oil fuel motor, with control yoke tied to the plane by two strings. You held the yoke, and spun around in place while the plane circled around you. I used to spin around until I got so dizzy I was ready to puke.
