Anyone know a good web hosting service?

These all sound great, if your site doesn't need much bandwidth. Does anyone know any good deals for 100 - 200 GB of bandwidth a month? Or unlimited?

I know a company to stay away from: CI Host.. They are terrible!!!; Sure, they say 'unlimited' bandwidth. But it's unlimited only because you PAY FOR anything over their, suspiciously always omitted, allotment of 20GB a month.. Bastards.

I went with NavMonkey for my site, but I've got small-time bandwidth needs.

You may want to check out ipowerweb. Their plan offers 800MB of storage and 40GB transfer. Not bad for $7.95/month, but it looks like you can't go over the 40GB/month, even if you wanted to pay for the extra usage. (I guess you could throw up a few different domains with them.....)

Wow, Ipowerweb is up to 800meg now? Geez?! I found them when they were up to 500meg for $7.95, but 800meg is too cool. I don't know many people that can actually fill up that much webspace (using web files), but still, that'd come in handy if you have a bunch of video or audio files on your site.

um, can anyone reccomend a good uk host? would be using a forum like this and would like to be able to post news on the frontpage also..

@ Ultra, how do you post news to the frontpage? is it using moveable type or something or is it integrated with the forum or something? cos if so that would save a lot of time and hassles.. I do like the way news storys are linked to the forum, is this tough to do btw?

ahh, i thought it must be something you had bolted on and modified as I havent seen anything so effective/innovative elsewhere.. it has to be said.. the fcked frontpage looks great!
