Goggle's free Picasa for Windows as good as iPhoto

Postby Taro Toporific » Wed Aug 11, 2004 7:00 pm

Goggle's free Picasa software for organizing dgital photo files on your PC. It's about as good and EASY a way as any to organize, view and edit your pictures. Goggle's free "Picasa" as good as iPhoto and works almost the same way---no relearning for Apple iPhoto users. Picasa will not delete or move the location of pictures saved on your PC.
That gives it my three THUMBS UP <he, hee>!

"The thumbnail system removes the need to search for digital pictures using their original file names, which makes it difficult for most digital camera owners to find the photo they need. Advanced features include: cropping, rotation, red-eye removal, keyword search, slideshow (with music), movie support and photo timeline display."

So, do you need to do some "cropping, rotation, red-eye removal" after you get off work? Tough job <hee, hee>. :P

nice info Taro ^^

having about 30-50 gigs taking up space on my bigger disc it sounds like this is just the app to help get them all sorted once and for all ..

I hope theres a drag and drop option to sort them into folders :D
