Logitech MX1000 Laser Mouse On Sale in Japan

Postby Big Booger » Sun Nov 28, 2004 10:56 pm

MX1000

I bought this at a local computer shop. All I can say is it's like rubbing your hand over some KY jelly. :D

It's the fastest mouse I have ever used. By far one of the most feature packed, with over 8 buttons to choose from. Including a Scroll left and right with the mouse wheel.. amazing.

Features:

* Rapid-charging base station makes sure the mouse is always ready, and the lithium-ion battery never needs replacing
* Universal page forward and back, plus an application switch that quickly moves between open windows
* Wheel tilts for side-to-side scrolling
* Cruise Control rocker for speed-scrolling up and down, and zoom with a click of the wheel
* Compatible with Windows 98, 2000, Me, XP, and Macintosh OS X and higher

It's wireless and rechargable and doesn't weigh much because there are no batteries. :D It does weigh a bit more than the mx510 that I also have on another PC. But it is fast and is laser based. So you can use it on almost any surface.

Go ahead and get one, you won't be sorry. :D

I saw the packaging for one of these things here in the states about a month ago... it's like a diamond in your eye, looking at it.
Why do the Japanese always have to have a favorite saying?

Looks nice and has a lot of features, but if it's dpi and smooth running you're going for razers are the best in my opinion.

Did you look : HERE

:D About 8900-10000 yen.

And this mouse is a laser mouse is up to 20 times more sensitive than an optical mouse. So an optical mouse would have to track at 800dpi X 20 to outperform this mouse or at least that is what I take from the explanation below.

This laser mouse tracks at 800dpi. But it is laser technology instead of the basic optical that most mice come with today. It is the first of its kind on the market.

Have a look at the following image:

A quick trip to the smaller of the two BIC Camera's in Shibuya combined with 9000 yen and a trip up the Den-En Toshi later, I too am the proud owner.

Folks, this mouse is incredibly, it's so... so... wow. Have a peekeroo...

As I said, it's a hand's wet-dream.
