Postby CAkOS » Tue Feb 08, 2005 10:32 am

Well if you guys know what I am talking about....Keitai.
I am hesitating between those 2 models. v602sh and v601t
Do any of you own one? any issues?
Please guys I need your feedback....maybe I am just going the wrong way!
My keitai should have SD card, can play music, digicame
Some say that Toshiba's keitai sucks...(v601t is Toshiba)

I am kinda lost looking for a nice cheap keitai. help.
Thanks

Just an additional keitai question that's driving me crazy:
What are the general options for using the SD card for music on keitai? Can I play my own MP3 music taken from my own existing music CDs?
Or am I forced to use only music that is downloaded from the asshole-of-satan keitai service provider?

----------------
DISCLAIMER:
I think all keitai sucks: I can't see anything the tiny screens, the keys are too small, there's very few models offering a proper Crackberry-style keyboard. I dumped my keitai last Dec and I REFUSE to buy another one until the interface is usable and not DOGSHIT made for thumbelina midgets.

The new F901iC can receive music from iTunes according to the salesperson at the store. I'll be picking one up next month or so. It also has a fingerprint sensor and Felica for payments.

Check out AK's awesome folk band, CanneryRow, http://www.soundclick.com/bands/2/canneryrowmusic.htm

Well that's all fair and good, but what if I wanted to listen to "AK's awesome CanneryRow" on a keitai?

Can any keitai load an MP3 (or OGG, AIFF, WAV)?

At least you're not looking at the "sa" (Sanyo). I've had two. The v801sa I have now crashes, does weird things at random intervals and is using the same old software they were using 3 years ago (when I got rid of my last one.) Oh and the compression of the video is so high that it is almost unuseable--even when set to "quality mode".

A friend has a newer Toshiba and the menus seem intuitive (relatively) and the video record & camera quality is supurb.

I'm looking at replacing the sanyo before going insane but my choices are narrowed by needing international roaming (sim card) version.

The new motorola and Nokia models feel like cheap toys (as does my sanyo) and the keyboards are easy to mis-press cause there's no space between the keys.
It's never too late to have a happy childhood
