Anyone else never heard of Apabi?

Apologies beforehand, as this is more China than Japan-related

I recently signed up for library services over the web here in Tianjin (http://apabi.tjl.tj.cn) and started using the Apabi Reader application (similar to Adobe Reader). The Reader, however, is just that - a viewing program (but with .ceb format instead of pdf). For my purposes (full-text searches with grep tools), I'd need to convert the ceb files to a usable format (text, html, CSV, etc.). I've been thinking about purchasing some of the ebooks, but if I can't convert them then they're of no real use to me. Plus, I've seen little or no information on Apabi Maker (the equivalent to Adobe Acrobat) like pricing, purchasing, etc.

This is sort of a shot in the dark, but if anyone has information on Apabi Maker or a similar application that can handle/convert .ceb files, I'd love to hear about it.
