Although, it seems like the fix is in, and there's not much difference either way between any of the carrier plans.

Listen I know Steve Jobs was a very intelligent man, and he did lead a company that introduced some very cool and useful items, but the way the MSM has gone crazy over his death is absurd! Either Time or Newsweek decided to scrap their entire issue for a retrospect on his life, CNN and all the other media networks are falling all over themselves to see who can glorify him more.

synchronize my bookmarks with xmarks.
play movie from my desktop computer with airvideo...
have the same straight to function no bullshit approach as my mac.
I'm not saying anything bad against the Volvo FH16, that's a fooking good truck. It's not just what you can do, but how you do it. And with the Ios devices... For everything you can do, you don't need to think 'how' you just start doing...
As of now... from system administration to race sims, flight sims or everyday wanking, there is not a single function missing to me.

anything else?
chokonen888 wrote:They have android apps that do all that now. (yes, as in pretty much emulate an apple device and sych with apple software)
I've always looked at it as if you want simple and easy to use, go with an iphone. If you like modifying the hell out your phone and want the bleeding edge, you go with an android. (same idea with MAC/PC)

In other news, I used the online Softbank user form to request that an antenna be placed in a nearby mountain area where some of my wife's relatives live (I get zero reception up there).
SBM was nice enough to respond, saying in super polite J-speak that basically, it ain't gonna happen anytime soon. But, hey, we'll keep it in mind for future reference.
Actually, I did try to respond, but SMS from Softbank are read-only, so, no luck.chokonen888 wrote:Did you reply back in super polite J-speak that you would be switching to Docomo and advising everyone in your area to do the same, now aware that Softbank had no plans to install an antennae there?
