Because it is a GIMMICK (ya know fake) designed by a ring tone company to make lots of money. Modern day snake oil salesmen.

It is cheaper to make and market a ring tone to make a quick buck than to press a CD from a glass master, package and distribute a physical product.

But I think if they made a ring tone to compete with the spammers selling "Add inches to your cock" they would make a fortune as well. But prepare to be disappointed because it is, ya know, fake.....
