getting Japanese on a non-Japanese keitai

Lately some limited GSM support has been cropping up in Japan, especially some nokias on vodaphone.

i'm in the states now, but it would be damn fine if i could txt in j. i know i could do it if i had a nokia, but i have a moto currently. possible?

Likely not, but you should tell us what the model number of your Motorola and the OS it uses. From what I remember, Motorola cellphone using the Symbian OS could handle Japanese somewhere deep in the operating system.

got 2 phones actually.

one is an unlocked v600, and the other is a verizon e815. both look like standard moto OSs
