NTT plans WiMax tests next month

NTT, Japan's largest telecommunications group, plans to test WiMax technology as early as next month.

I wish if NTT would stop dicking around and get more serious with their service, especially when it comes to coverage and availability. They are finally dumping PHS in late 07 but their FOMA still needs more flexibility and coverage in the remote boonies.
